5 cry worthy stars
I recently saw a friend's review for Unforgiven and was immediately intrigued. I picked it up based on her review alone. I expected it to be good but I was shocked to find out how captivating the story and characters were. Elizabeth Finn outdid herself with this one.
Unforgiven truly lead me on an emotional rollercoaster ride. There were some funny and steamy moments but a majority of the scenes were filled with a lot of pain and remorse.
Honestly, it was like experiencing all the stages of grief right that I literally cried my eyes out.
There were so many gut-wrenching and agonizing moments that I don’t think I even have any more tears to cry. Seriously, I ended the book with a stuffy nose and puffy eyes.
It’s been awhile since I’ve been so emotionally invested in a book & I’m glad that I completed my 2013 reading challenge with a 5 star read.
Just a word of advice, before you pick this one up, make sure you’re fully stocked on your Kleenex & you have your eye drops within reach.
