Just a little FYI: this book should not be read alone.
It’s completely heartbreaking and emotionally draining. Although the story itself isn’t beautiful, Tabitha’s writing is. For a controversial issue that rarely gets the limelight, this book leaves you feeling conflicted.
I don’t think I have the strength to ever re-read this book again but it did leave an impression that I won’t ever forget.
